Mpeppe Tokens Lack Liquidity, Making Them Difficult to Trade
Mpeppe has started distributing 25% of the tokens owed to its investors, but many users are struggling to trade them due to liquidity problems. Despite successfully claiming their tokens, investors have been unable to exchange them for other assets on decentralized exchanges like Uniswap.
Allegations of Fraudulent Presale and Token Movement
The distribution follows accusations from August that Mpeppe had conducted a fraudulent presale, with investors alleging they had paid for tokens but never received them. Blockchain records from that time revealed that all tokens were stored in a single wallet, with no transaction activity, further raising red flags.
Claim Portal Asking for Personal Information
The claim portal, which allows users to claim 25% of their tokens, requests personal information such as phone numbers and email addresses instead of cryptocurrency addresses. This has raised additional concerns about the project’s transparency and the handling of user data.
Plans for Online Casino and Gaming Platform
Mpeppe has also announced its plans to launch an online casino and a Telegram-based gaming platform where users can place bets using Mpeppe tokens. However, the project’s long-term success depends on its ability to resolve the ongoing liquidity issues and restore investor trust.
